NCsoft begins hyping Project TL ahead of 2020 beta

If you’re interested in getting your eyes full of the in-development MMO Project TL but can’t be fussed with all of that in-game in-engine stuff, then you’re going to be in love with the concept art gallery that was revealed by NCsoft.

There’s little information and even less context in the images, but they do offer a look at several things that tick the fantasy world boxes, like the ominous tower of Dragon’s Nest, a number of highly fortified towns, and a rather morose-looking paladin fellow. Poor guy.

In case you’ve forgotten, Project TL is the name for the MMO project that once was Lineage Eternal. The game was first announced in 2011, but saw no less than two different betas, both of which failed to light both players and NCsoft on fire. The game was rebooted into its current incarnation in 2017, shifting to Unreal Engine 4 and replacing its team lead. As of right now, the next closed beta (third time’s the charm, right?) is set for sometime in the first half of 2020.
