It’s been a week since Final Fantasy XIV patch 5.35 arrived on the game’s live servers, and now the patch notes have gotten a little bit of an update. It’s not a major one, to be sure, just listing all of the new items added with this particular update as well as all the new recipes added into the game. Seeing as most of the new items in question are not crafted (there’s only one recipe not directly tied into crafting upgrades to Dragonsung tools) you’ll have to look elsewhere to acquire them.
Meanwhile, tomorrow marks the start of the annual Make it Rain event, which is running a bit longer and taking the place of the usual Halloween event due to development delays. A new entry on the official site recaps not just the event itself but some of the items players can acquire during the lengthy period of bonus MGP rewards, including a new parasol and the sabotender mount. If you have the free time on Friday, why not take a chance to jump over to the Gold Saucer for a bit?
