Elder Scrolls Online is dropping its first big DLC of the year today with the release of The Ascending Tide DLC on PC, Mac, and Stadia. The DLC kicks off the MMO’s 2022 Legacy of the Bretons arc and includes two four-person dungeons – Coral Aerie and Shipwright’s Regret in normal and vet modes – as its core features.

“A pair of new PvE dungeons help kick off the year, Shipwright’s Regret and The Coral Aerie. Ascending Tide is the perfect set up for the exciting events to come in this year’s High Isle Chapter. Players can look forward to the return of several heroes from previous ESO adventures. The new DLC opens with a daring rescue of Jakarn from the mysterious Ascendant Order. Players will partner with Captain Kaleen for a heroic raid of the Coral Aerie, but they must be on the lookout for dark forces threatening the Breton people. The Coral Aerie is a beautiful yet treacherous location, a perfect taste of the visuals to come in 2022. Players can also discover an abandoned, haunted shipyard known as Shipwright’s Regret. Said to be the largest fleet in Tamriel’s history, the legendary All Flags Navy is found in wreckage where lurking undead foes now call the ruins home. There will be plenty of new and exciting challenges, secrets, and loot for players to experience in our latest DLC.”

Subscription players have access to the DLC automatically, though it can be purchased a la carte too for 1500 crowns (about $15 US). Console players, don’t despair; your turn is coming March 29th, by which point the PC players will have fully playtested it for you!
