MY.GAMES’ PvPvE extraction shooter Hawked has laid out its roadmap for 2024, and it looks to be as content-rich as it possibly can, with “issues” – aka multiple features and updates – lining up in every quarter of the year, not the least of which being a global launch in Q1, representing a lighting fast shift from early access to release considering it only started EA this past November.
The global launch will arrive to PC via Steam and the MY.GAMES launcher, Nvidia’s GeForce Now, PS4, and PS5. It will also make its way to the Xbox X|S later, but that will be delayed as a result of the devs needing a bit more time to “ensure a solid experience that’s on a level with players on other platforms.”
Before full release, players can look forward to a Lunar New Year event, a UI rework, movement updates, and a host of quality-of-life changes, while later issues bring additional story content, new enemies, additional weapons, and more locations. In terms of issue-specific features, players can look forward to ranked PvP in Issue 2, crafting and auction house features in Issue 3, and a limited-time event and the ability to wield Fringe Tech in Issue 4. In the meantime, last week saw a primarily balance-focused patch that tweaks weapons, gear, artifacts, and enemies, in addition to a number of general improvements and bug fixes.
