V Rising continues to make sure people are extremely aware that it’s leaving early access on Wednesday, May 8th, and it’s doing so with a a splashy new launch trailer and some words of thanks to those who helped Stunlock Studios through its nearly two years of early access.
The post offers plenty of appreciation for those who have been along for V’s ride, welcomes those who have only recently arrived to the survival sandbox, and expresses eagerness at the potential for more new arrivals during the 1.0 launch. “We’ve come a long way since we first launched in Early Access on May 17th, 2022, and many of you have been with us on that journey,” Stunlock writes. “Next week, the thrills will reach new heights, and we’re excited for you to finally get your hands on the culmination of our work and passion over the years!”
Meanwhile the new trailer tries to encapsulate the overall gameplay loop of the title, while the freshly updated website heralds all of the features that come with the 1.0 update. The hype is building to a head, in other words, and fans can bask in the glow (of the moon, obviously) in the trailer below.
