I don’t know about you, but I most definitely did not expect to be hearing so much praise for the newly purchased Palia in Daybreak’s latest financial call, nor the whisper of a release window next year, but that’s exactly what we got last week. I mean, the next H1Z1 game is basically delayed because Daybreak is focused on bringing Palia to market! So we’ll just keep riding that good news as we peek into what Palia is up to with its next update.
According to the teaser trailer dropped last night, the next update is called Season of Splendor, and it pretty much looks like a Christmas rollout. The very brief notes we have right now promise the conclusion to the prologue quest, new pond plushies, new cash-shop buyables, and the Winterlights celebration with its coordinating holiday decor.
“Something stirs in the Temple depths,” Singularity 6 said on Discord. “Help Subira get to the bottom of a whole new mystery when the Season of Splendor update (Patch 0.186) releases this Thursday, November 21!”
Readers will recall that Palia released Winterlights last December just after dropping into beta, and it was actually two patches, with a questline, tree decorating, and a new explorable temple.
