Before you know it, the delay for Destiny 2’s The Final Shape will be all but an awful memory and players will get their hands on some of the new shiny goodies that will be on offer (assuming that they purchase the expansion obviously). That means that Bungie is continuing to stir up the hype and push out the previews, both in its weekly newsletter and its YouTube channel.

We’ll start with the latest videos, which provide a quick look at the Prismatic subclasses of the Warlock, Hunter, and Titan from an in-house playtest build. Each of the three videos blend together PvP and PvE combat and ooze with a “how do you do, fellow gamers” kind of vibe, but it’s also some of the first peeks we’ve seen of “real” combat, so it’s likely worth fans’ time to watch them below.

As for the newsletter, that focused on the expansion’s class-specific exotic items, which will have a mixture of exotic perks that regular fans might be familiar with in combinations Bungie hopes are complimentary. Of course, these perks are the usual random roll, so those who have a specific combination in mind will need to go farming, but the studio promises these items will be on hand in a “farmable” new activity that will be released in Final Shape’s second week.

The rest of the weekly news digest talks about the next boss added to the shooter’s boss rush mode, a returning exotic mission to earn Zero Hour, and an event that guarantees a deepsight weapon drop for running seasonal activities between now and June 3rd.

In other Bungie-related news, the classic FPS Marathon is being re-released for free on Steam starting with the first game in the series. This resurrection comes by way of fans that are part of the Aleph One community and is being done with Bungie’s full blessing. Which is good considering the studio’s extraction shooter revamp was delayed into next year as a result of a mass of studio layoffs.
