Past Fate improves UI, tweaks gear, and adds ancient chests as it asserts it’s near early access

First of all; no we still don’t know when Past Fate will be heading to its early access release. We presume it’s close considering all of the recent video hullabaloo as well as the statement that heads off its latest patch notes, which asserts that the sandbox is “getting much closer for eventual Early Access release.” Which is it, guys? Getting close or eventually?

Timing vagueries aside, this latest patch does another round of tuning and adding to the MMORPG. Of particular note is the addition of ancient chests to ancient locations, which unsurprisingly provide ancient loot for players to get. The crafting UI has also seen some updates that include the ability to assign multiple crafts, while the inventory UI has been made easier to navigate.

Lastly, some gear adjustments have been made that include the ability for the necromancer’s staff weapon to summon all five minions at once instead of one at a time, stat adjustments that allow certain weapons to cast spells, and unique models for the aforementioned ancient gear. Check out the patch notes to absorb all of the details.
