Nexon Q1 2026: ARC Raiders and MapleStory help to bring record high revenue

Forget it, Jake; it's Pink Bean Town

It would appear that Nexon’s first quarter of 2026 will not halt the presumption of investor boards that it takes one or two mega-hits to make all of the money and cause the funny line to climb, forever and ever, until every stockholder can own jetskis made of wine while getting five haircuts at the same time. That’s because both ARC Raiders and MapleStory are called out as reasons why the company had a record high Q1.

This quarter saw a 42% increase in revenue for the fiscal year to ¥152.2B, or over $945M when compared to the same time last year. The MapleStory franchise is specifically pointed as a primary reason for the earnings, particularly its idle RPG and the MapleStory Worlds platform, though ARC Raiders is also given high praise for selling an additional 4.6 million units and being the company’s most successful release in its history.

As for Nexon’s future prospects, there aren’t too many new revelations provided here: The company marks the release of Mabinogi: Mobile to Taiwan and Japan later this year, the still-undated launch of Vindictus: Defying Fate, the 2026 release of Overwatch in Korea, and Dungeon Fighter side games like Project: Overkill, DnF Classic, and DnF Arad still coming down the pike.
