Final Fantasy XIV previews its story and dungeons in patch 3.2

I know Gridanians hate moths.
The next patch for Final Fantasy XIV brings along a fresh pair of dungeons to the game, which won’t surprise anyone. The dungeons in question might be a bit more surprising, however. Patch 3.2 brings the hard mode for Lost City of Amdapor, proving that the ruins haven’t gotten any more welcoming now that Diabolos has moved on. It also brings in the Antitower, a Sharlayan facility devoted to the study of the heart of the world, with the promise of potentially grim revelations for those who brave its depths.

That seems like something which may very well tie into the next bit of the game’s main scenario questing, since players have been told to expect the return of a major character. But the preview page sounds a bit more ominous, noting that change is coming to Ishgard while obliquely implying that said change may not actually be focused upon the revelations about the Dragonsong War. The patch will be arriving on February 23rd, but you can feel free to speculate on what happens next until then.
