Dragons, right? What is their deal? You can find out today in the newest DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online. Scalebreaker is out today, complete with two new dungeons (one of which, the Moongrave Fane, has already been toured by our own Ben), eight new item sets, and new features like multi-crafting and changes to Undaunted Keys. You can even unlock a new wing of the Hall of the Lunar Champion home just by clearing both dungeons on Veteran difficulty.

As usual, the DLC is free for subscribers or can be purchased for 1500 crowns for those who prefer not to subscribe. It should be noted that multi-crafting, multi-bidding, and improvements to Undaunted Keys are part of the update without requiring any DLC purchase, so if you need to wait a little bit before picking this up you can still enjoy the crafting improvements. Check out the full rundown and start dealing with those dragons, why don’t you?

The multi-crafting is simply awesome. My main had 500+ of several kinds of ore to refine and being able to refine them all with just a few clicks and not 3,532 clicks was a life saver for my keyboard. 👍👍

Not many changes to my own builds. Some rotation skill swaps but class, CP, faction, race, world stay about the same. The new gear stats are interesting but not meta dependent yet. Honestly if your not doing trials, it’s a good time to experiment.

I expected more QoL updates and was really hoping to see Southern Elsweyr make it in the patch but honestly pretty happy with the consistency coming out of ESO.

I wish Southern Elsweyr was getting a big expansion rather than a DLC. I understand they announced it as a 2019 Q4 DLC thing, but that means the zone is going to be much smaller than it would be if it were an expansion instead which makes me sad. I mean I’ll still play through it and be happy for the content but I wish it was bigger than just a DLC :D
