Final Fantasy XIV’s next live letter is set for February 6

Tell me more, tell me more, but you don't have to brag.

It seems fairly likely (but not yet confirmed) that the next major patch for Final Fantasy XIV will arrive on February 18th. The site of official information about said next patch is currently rather anemic and the information has slowed to a trickle. On the plus side, we’re sure to get a closer look at the patch all the same once the next live letter from producer and director Naoki Yoshida takes place on February 6th, so at least the current quiet state of previews won’t persist for too much longer.

The live letter is scheduled for 6:00 a.m. EST, so you should probably be ready to wake up very early if you want to catch the event as it happens. There are no specific details on what the letter will cover aside from patch 5.2, but that’s probably enough for fans. Keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of weeks, in other words; the information is coming, as is the patch itself.
