Path of Exile adjusts rogue equipment, alert levels, and chokepoints in Heist

Yoink.

Killing monsters no longer raises the alert level in Path of Exile as you roll through Heist content. Yes, this means that your heists will be more violent. That’s how things are going now, it seems. Just go with it and enjoy all of the bliss of going in for a heist with swords blazing. (Or sparking or freezing, whatever elemental power you want to be wielding.) That’s not the only major change released in today’s update, which also adjusts how choke points are working so that monster skills are more staggered and elite guards are less plentiful.

Players will also no longer find rogue equipment dropping at low levels with much higher requirements. The drop rate for rogue equipment has been roughly tripled, as it was showing up too rarely to be interesting. So the feel of heists will likely be rather different now, but hopefully in a positive way. More adjustments are planned for the future, but this at least starts the process.
