If EverQuest II’s 2023 roadmap wasn’t your cup of fizzle pop, then perhaps the classic EverQuest is, and Daybreak’s dropped a roadmap for your eyeballs now too. In addition to the upgraded holiday festivals and raid tier unlocks on various time-limited servers, the highlights include the following:

  • March: the 24th birthday celebration with new quests and mission
  • April: the new UI engine launch
  • May: a new progression server (no ruleset known yet)
  • October: the DirectX API port and expansion beta/preorder
  • December: the 30th expansion launch

Darkpaw is further promising zone improvements, more ports to the new UI engine, and the guild tradeskill depot over the course of 2023. “We will continue working on other updates to the game, fixing issues, and making “quality of life” improvements (such as UI tweaks, etc.),” the team says.
