Final Fantasy XIV updates its special site for patch 6.5, Growing Light, with new details

I'm annoyed.

Have you heard of the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV which has an unlimited free trial up to level 60? Well when patch 6.5 arrives, it’ll be an unlimited free trial up to level 70 including the entirety of the Stormblood expansion, which is… well, actually, it’s still hundreds of hours of free content. But it’s still more content, including Red Mage and Samurai as playable jobs. So that’s fun, and it’s one of the things being previewed on the Growing Light teaser site with the most recent update.

Players can also get a first look at the main scenario quests that will involve taking light from the First, the new Lunar Subterrane dungeon, and the encounters in the final Myths of the Realm installment, Thaleia. There’s more to see that you can expect when we get the next live letter from producer and director Naoki Yoshida in the near future; for now, just check out the images and explanations and chill.
