The Scions of Ithelia DLC has been on The Elder Scrolls Online’s PTS since the end of January, so surely endgamers and dataminers have already sucked every last drop of information out of it in preparation for the launch – but if not, ZeniMax Online Studios has another preview for you. Now, this DLC is basically just two dungeons, and we’ve already seen Oathsworn Pit, so that makes this one Bedlam Veil.
Bedlam Veil is essentially “a sort of storehouse where Fa-Nuit-Hen keeps treasures, memories, and all the unused materials of creation that do not make an appearance in the arenas.” It’s been infested with a cult called the Blind path and offers players “a chance to discover more about this peculiar part of Oblivion and its master,” inspired by Maelstrom Arena.
“Bedlam Veil shows a side of its master that is less planned out,” says ZOS’s Helena Wachhaus. “You’ll be able to see just from the ground alone that Bedlam Veil is a little haphazard. While Fa-Nuit-Hen is just as charismatic and combat-focused as ever, this space and situation explores the relationship with Tutor Riparius and the Barons who Move Like This.”
Scions of Ithelia releases March 11th for PC and Mac players and March 26th on console, so at least PC players haven’t got long to wait.
