Next week is bringing a bunch of new content to the superheroic world of DC Universe Online, which naturally means that Daybreak’s Dimensional Ink sub-studio is cranking up the hype for Episode 46: Harley Quinn vs. Apokolips.
First off, there’s the official key art reveal for the update featuring an extremely deep breakdown from Art Director Scot Boyd, who points out several of the hints and Easter eggs that are scattered throughout the image and provides some initial details of the update. Tidbits include confirmation of the open world map being set in an “apocalyptic” South Gotham, names of characters joining the story in graffiti, and the promise of improved visuals and cinematics.
Speaking of cinematics, the teaser trailer for the episode provides a first look at several of those characters including Granny Goodness, Harley and the other Furies, and a cameo from Red Tool.
