The next patch for World of Warcraft arrives on December 17th, and it’s bringing a storm. Specifically, it’s bringing regular storms to the new zone, Siren Isle. The island used to be an Azerite mine run by Kul Tiras, but the miners have all vanished and now people are investigating what the heck happened. In addition to weekly invasions, players will need to deal with regular storms that also bring an assortment of crustaceans seeking to overtake the land, so you’ll need to push back on that as you swear the third ideal acquire new catch-up gear and improve a special ring. It’s all on display in a new video exploring the patch features.

There’s more in the patch, too, with new questlines serving as a prelude for patch 11.1 and dealing with the Kirin Tor, the return of Plunderstorm and the Turbulent Timeways event, and the ability to queue up with friends cross-faction so long as you have a full party ready to enter the dungeon. Check out the video below for a quick overview of everything coming in the patch; it’s got a fair bit going on.
