Legends of Runeterra: It’s patch week for Runeterra fans as well with the drop of the 1.11 patch. “The Call of the Mountain season continues with the latest balance updates, in-game leaderboards, and our first single-player Lab: Journey to the Peak,” Riot says.
Ragnarok Battle Academy: The Ragnarok franchise is getting another entry, this one a battle royale title. According to MMO Culture, studio Gravity will begin closed beta this fall.
Apex Legends: EA’s popular shooter is launching a beta for full cross-play and cross-play matchmaking between PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Origin, and eventually Steam. Flashpoint, a new limited-time mode, is also on the way.
Astroneer: My kids are gonna be happy with this one, as the cutesy space sandbox posted update 1.15, which tweaks manual platform locking, terrain tools, proximity detection, and more.
Overwatch: The Acti-Blizzard CEO of esports and Overwatch League commissioner, Pete Vlastelica, has apparently left his post in favor of a different role within the company. According to Blizzard, Vlastelica, who joined the company in 2016, will shift to “new entrepreneurial ventures on behalf of Activision Blizzard, following the Overwatch League Grand Finals.” It’s not yet clear who’s taking over his old job.
