What weird and wild adventures is Utakata up to in Blade and Soul this week? Apparently it involves staying up way past a little one’s bedtime, then creeping down to the cursed wishing pool and casting in the fingerbone of a loved one in exchange for a dark boon. A wet gurgling cackle breaks the glade’s silence, and when all is done, the wish is granted.
Bam! Utakata’s screenshot is the headlining picture of this week’s One Shots. I mean, I would’ve used that wish on a free pack of 20 chicken McNuggets, but you do you.
Greaterdivinity kicks off what apparently is a Guild Wars 2-themed week here at One Shots: “You meet all kinds when hanging out before world bosses. Some lazybones in their cats, some fancy armors and… a fish, apparently? Also I now have a flying sword I can ride around on, so that’s cool!”
Then there’s Vincent, bemoaning a slow Final Fantasy XIV stretch and visiting Guild Wars 2 for some corset action. Because, as I’ve found, nothing is so conducive to high-cardio activities like fighting for you life than having your torso squeezed into an outfit modeled after a toothpaste tube.
“Well I’ve burnt out on LOTRO’s Mordor server, and SWL has bugged out on one too many missions for my patience, so no MMO pics this week,” Sleepy said. “Hogwarts Legacy did bring out a photo mode however, so here’s some of that while I rediscover my MMO mojo.”
“I haven’t been taking many screenshots of late, aside from several of waterfalls in Janthir that I’m pretty sure others have posted already,” said Katriana. ” So here is a calm nighttime shot across the Salma District in Divinity’s Reach with a view of the rest of the city in the background.”
And somewhere in the distance, you hear the unmistakable sound of another fingerbone getting tossed into a pond.
