Final Fantasy XIV kicks off a five-day login campaign

Have you stepped away from Final Fantasy XIV for a bit? That’s understandable. There are a lot of games out there to play, after all. But now that the game has patched in a roguelike dungeon crawl, the end of the Heavensward story, and new dungeons and raids, perhaps you’d like to give all of the new content a little sample? You can do exactly that with the free login campaign, running from now until August 30th.

Former players who are no longer subscribed can log in at any convenient point, and the account will be flagged for logging back in for up to five days. That means five days to explore what’s new in the game and decide if it’s what you had been waitin to have in the game when you stepped away at first. There’s also a new crossover event coming out tomorrow, so there’s even more stuff to do in the very near future.
