Final Fantasy XIV welcomes players back to the game with a free login campaign

A great deal of things changed in Final Fantasy XIV with the most recent patch, from the mentor system to the Hall of the Novice to the number of available hairstyles. But you aren’t yet sure if you want to head back and check out those changes, are you? That’s exactly the sort of situation that the latest free login campaign is meant to address, offering everyone who has purchased the game in the past a free chance to jump in and play for four days… any time within the next month.

Yes, while previous login campaigns were a bit more constrained, this one will allow players to jump in and enjoy 96 hours of playtime from the moment of login, starting now and ending on April 13th. If you have a block of time to check out the game anywhere within that rush of days, you won’t have to worry about precise scheduling. You should probably start your gametime before the middle of April to get the full 96 hours of login time, just the same; the important thing is that you don’t have to clear your schedule this week to take advantage.
