At QuakeCon this evening, ZeniMax dropped some juicy info for Elder Scrolls Online fans.
The big news, of course, is the launch date for Scalebreaker, the MMO’s next DLC: It’ll arrive on August 12th for PC and Mac, while Xbox One and PS4 players will be waiting for August 27th to pick it up. As we’ve previously covered, Scalebreaker is dungeon-themed pack with two new dungeons, Moongrave Fane and Lair of Maarselok fitting into the Season of the Dragon plotline. Update 23, the free patch that’ll arrive at the same time, includes multiple tweaks: multi-bidding at guild trader spots, multi-crafting, better undaunted key management, and updates to battlegrounds too.
Toward the end of the Building Tamriel panel, ZeniMax also showed a performance improvements timeline going clear into Q2 next year. Folks who don’t play ESO might not understand why regulars will be so excited to see this, but let’s just say that these are much needed and much welcomed promises.
