The newest season of Diablo III challenges is live today, and it’s all about standing in the thing. Are you standing in the thing? If not, you should be standing in the thing. Yes, that’s the whole Season of the Triune gimmick; there are three circles on the map, and standing in one of them confers a notable effect. Since they spawn randomly, you’ll have to consider both the shape of the battlefield and the effects that you want to be sure about where to stand. There are also new rewards and returning classic rewards to entice you.
This comes along with a patch that includes several item balance adjustments across the board; according to the design team, the goal was providing a number of things that are not class-specific but allow players of all classes to try something new. You can check out all of the various changes for yourself to see if they were successful or not, either via the patch notes or just if you have a backlog of Legendary items to tool around with.
