The next major Final Fantasy XIV patch arrives in early December, but you can start teasing out some information about it now via the newly launched special site for the patch. This includes many teases about what’s coming next in terms of lore, but the contents of the story remain vague. Sure, we can see that Alphinaud and Alisaie are in Limsa Lominsa, but why are they there? We just don’t know yet.
Of course, the teases of what comes next are the point, hence the teaser for the upcoming Eden’s Promise (the third and final set of Eden raids), the new dungeon Matoya’s Relict which is apparently located in the ruins of the Makers’ Quarter in the Dravanian Hinterlands, and the newest opponent to fight in the Sorrows of Werlyt line.
