The Daily Grind: Do you remember to eat food in your MMO of choice?

I’ve been obsessed with cooking in MMOs ever since I created a chef empire in original-flavor Star Wars Galaxies. Actually, it probably started well before that; I was that person who always used to cook stuff like Blackened Teir’Dal and Gnome Cookies and feed them to my EverQuest guildies on raids for amusement. My amusement.

But remembering to eat food… that’s another story. I have a maxed out chef in Lord of the Rings Online, so my characters always have a nice complement of buff food, and yet I’m always forgetting to snack. I never seem to forget other consumables, like my fire oils, but food? If it drops, I don’t notice. And I know it’s a waste of resources!

Do you remember to eat food in your MMO of choice? Is it a problem you have with all consumables, or just food?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
