The latest update to Lost Ark not only added an edgy new class and a host of quality-of-life updates but also began a series of prequel quests that set the stage for the arrival to the Voldis region. That region and the updates coming to the OARPG are the subject of a video that brings in franchise leader Soomin Park to talk about what players can expect when Voldis arrives in December.
Much of the in-house interview talks about the lore of the Voldis region, a land of exiled sages who established their own city to practice alchemy and research magical technology, transforming the island into a major hub city. This new area will additionally bring a bunch of main story questing that will wrap up the first chapter of the narrative and is said to run approximately as long as the Elgacia story arc.
In terms of content, there’s not just story questing to look forward to, as the patch will also add a new abyssal dungeon called the Ivory Tower of Chaos and a new elixir progression system that lets players transmute elixirs to improve their levels and gear. The video can be watched below.
