Destiny 2 expands its fireteam finder beta to all activities and accentuates the positives of its 2023

The year’s end for Destiny 2 was definitely not the brightest for Bungie, but the studio is electing to look at the bright side of its 2023 in its latest weekly newsletter, which calls attention to over $3.2M raised for charity, various stats for player activities, and baked goods crafted by fans for its Great Dawning Bake-Off contest.

As for the game itself, that’s naturally focused on the shooter’s Dawning holiday event, but it’s also highlighted by the expansion of the fireteam finder grouping tool, which has now expanded beyond just raids and across all of the game’s activities, whether it’s strikes or PvP. The feature is still considered to be in a beta state by Bungie, but it hopes that it will have all of the bugs ironed out enough to make the feature fully released early next year.
