Pearl Abyss is fond of celebrating odd milestones for Black Desert, but it sure beats a basic anniversary. Today, the company is touting the game’s 3000th day of global service since the western launch in 2016.

“Starting today and throughout the month, Pearl Abyss will count 3,000 days of Black Desert Online service in North America and Europe (when it launched March 3, 2016) by holding six in-game and community events,” says the announcement this morning. “It will give away special Log-in rewards featuring 3,000 Cron Stones and 1000% EXP Hot-time event rewards, and the team will hold unique participatory events, such as Playtime and Memories events.”

The game is on sale right now, the studio is teasing the upcoming War of the Roses PvP patch and Node Wars revamp with a new trailer (tucked down below), and there’s a sweet ring on offer through the Trials of Erethea challenge.

“The prestigious and difficult-to-acquire ‘Deboreka Ring’ is an endgame accessory that enhances players’ attack power and completes the ‘Deboreka’ set. By successfully passing the new ‘Trial of Erethea’, players will be able to loot required materials and even acquire the ring itself. When the item is enhanced to the max level (PEN), players can enjoy the AP increase +24 and Accuracy +12. Once equipped with all five of the Deboreka accessories, players will see an extra AP +8.”

Meanwhile, over in the game’s console edition, the latest patch includes the same conversion of the life skill system to a family-wide system already in place on PC.
