Today is the day when Destiny 2 can go from Guardians to Slayer Barons. The newest episode/season for the shooter, Revenant, is going live today and is being heralded with a new trailer to match.
The video showcases the new content’s narrative beats, which zero in on Fikrul the Fanatic and his undead Scorn army, along with the Onslaught wave survival activity and some smash-cut previews of the season’s new weapons and armor, all with a decidedly gothic horror bent to it.
Servers are offline at the time of this writing to apply the update, with downtime scheduled to wrap up at 1:00 p.m. EDT. That should give fans plenty of time to enjoy the space zombie good times in the trailer below.
