As promised, Kakao Games has officially opened registration for its mobile/PC MMORPG, Odin: Valhalla Rising, as of today, ahead of its April 29th launch. In fact, it’s not just registration that’s open now; it’s also character name and server reservations.

Odin: Valhalla Rising transports players to a seamless open world based on the rich lore and history of Nordic mythology, developed by Lionheart Studios in collaboration with publisher Kakao Games,” today’s press release says.

“Initially launching in Korea and select Asian regions in 2021, the game stayed at the top of the Korean Google Play Store charts for 17 consecutive weeks. Now, players worldwide can experience the adventure that has captivated over 17 million players. From April 29, players around the world will be able to embark on their own epic adventures in Odin: Valhalla Rising. With four distinct classes to choose from: Warrior, Sorceress, Priest, or Rogue, and multiple regions to explore, including iconic realms like Midgard and Jotunheim, an adventure defined by its unparalleled freedom awaits. Alongside the 30 vs 30 Battle of Valhalla, players can enjoy thrilling large-scale co-op battles and take on group dungeons and boss raids. Even more content is planned through future updates, including guild wars.”

The game will open to downloads on April 28th and then launch on the 29th on PC, Android, and iOS with “full cross-play across all devices […] supported from day one.” The preregistration page is promising a pile of rewards for signing up early, too.
