Chris Roberts and Sandi Gardiner are back after CitizenCon last week with another Star Citizen Around the Verse video, and this time it’s all about Squadron 42 and the big news from the event. The video opens by playing the Squadron 42 trailer, which premiered last week at the end of the show. They also reveal that among the motion-capture actors for Squadron 42 is none other than Superman himself, Henry Cavill, who joins the cast alongside the likes of Gillian Anderson and Mark Hamill.
After talking a bit about working with Cavill and Hamill and providing a look at how far the rendering tech used in Squadron 42 has come since the game’s inception, Roberts and Gardiner dive into CitizenCon. A solid half of the video is dedicated to a highlights reel of the convention, and it features footage of some incredible cosplayers, some of the con’s many exhibits, and heartwarmingly enough, a marriage proposal.
