The War of the Light is the DC Universe Online version of the elaborate battle between various different hues of power rings, and it’s going to be over soon. Tomorrow, in fact; Episode 20 will launch for subscribers on January 6th, while it will be added to the marketplace for non-subscribers to purchase a week later on January 13th. If you’re not currently subscribed but can’t wait to see how the story turns out, you might want to subscribe before the end of the day.
This update also launches right around the same time as the game’s fifth anniversary, which means that it’s a time of starting new things just as much as it’s about capping off older storylines. The DCUO team will be hosting a special stream for players on January 11th detailing where the game is heading in its next year. So here’s to another year, a conclusion to story arcs, and all of the multicolored power rings you could ask for.
