League of Legends, Dungeon Fighter Online, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and World of Tanks occupy half of the PC chart, while Destiny hangs on the number 10 spot for console sales. The report said that on all platforms (PC, mobile, and console) there was year-over-year growth.
The report also said that Valve is taking a bold strategy to promote its VR headset: “Valve wants to democratize the process with a new SteamVR licensing model […] Valve wants to support the development of 3rd party VR cybercafés carrying Vive hardware with formal licensing agreements. If successful, the move has the potential to extend HTC Vive’s 2016 sales lead over Oculus into 2017.”
