Want to try Legends of Aria? We’ve got trial keys just in time for the closed beta 2 launch!

It’s a big day for indie MMORPG Legends of Aria, as its second closed beta official kicks off with a server wipe and a juicy patch. CB2, as we’ve previously covered, revamps the game’s art, adds detail to the cities, adds a diurnal cycle, backer rewards, new encounters, better shops, a more realistic map, new tameables, saddle storage, new music, secure house trading, crafting orders, the dungeon revamp, and better fast travel.

“It feels like a different game, and we need to gather as much feedback as we can to get things just right for Open Beta and the Early Access launch,” Citadel Studios’ Derek Brinkmann opines in his letter to testers today, and that is where you come in: The Aria team wants you to test and has ponied up a bundle of trial keys to get the MOP readers in and playing. Click the Mo button below (and prove you’re not a robot) to grab one of these keys!

No keys left! Sorry.

To redeem your code, just follow the instructions on Legends of Aria’s redemption website. There are no regional restrictions on using the code, but Citadel cautions players that “if you can’t use PayPal in your country, you won’t be able to transition to a paying account.”

Do note that these are seven-day trial keys, meaning you’ll have a whole week to try out the game, at which point you’ll need to upgrade to a founder pack if you want to keep playing during this test phase. You can basically do everything in the game except create your own server, so there’s no gated content.

Also worth noting is that the open beta is still on schedule for the end of summer, followed by a final wipe, early access, and the trek to Steam, which could be as early as this year, so now is a good time to take a peek and help shape the final product.

Standard giveaway notes: If there’s no captcha or Mo button and all it says is “No keys left! Sorry” in big letters, then we’re out of keys. If we get another batch from the studio, we’ll send out a note on social media. Having problems with the captcha not working? Try an alt browser or clear your cache. And finally, hang on to your code! If you lose it after all of our keys are given out, we cannot retrieve it for you.

Good luck and have fun!
