Other beta news, then. Maybe this might be a bit spooky.
- After waiting for half of forever, Elyon actually has a release date in Korea! Maybe it’ll be great when it comes out here. Delays are hype-destroying, not spooky.
- Also not particularly spooky are console-exclusive early access launches, even for Temtem. It’s dropping on PlayStation 5 on December 8th. That’s cool, but not spooky at all.
- Gosh, even though it’s technically undead, City of Heroes Homecoming beta testing issue 27 isn’t spooky either! Where must we go for spookiness?
- Ah, there we go, some seasonally appropriate content from Ship of Heroes! Finally, we did it. We found the spooky.
All right. Now that you are all sufficiently spookied or spookified or whatever you’d like to call it, you can all hop down to the list below to take a look at the games we have listed in testing. You can also let us know if some of the games on there have changed testing states like sneaky little gremlins along the way. That’s always spooky.
As always, we consider an MMO to be in open testing if it features free, public signups and will server wipe prior to launch. An MMO is marked in closed testing if it’s running a private test phase that cannot freely be accessed by the general public; it’s usually under NDA as well. Early access and crowdfunded MMOs whose tests we deem legitimate will be included. So-called “open beta” soft-launch MMOs with cash shops, no sign of launch in the west, or limited interest for our readers will not be listed; we also do not list expansions, with occasional exceptions.
