It’s hard to miss the fact that the Arcadion raid series in Final Fantasy XIV features bespoke tracks for each of the raid’s four bosses, with an easy standout being the fourth fight’s electrifying “Give it All.” (Yes, the pun there is intentional.) And that wasn’t a coincidence, as it turns out that the song was a collaboration with Against the Current’s lead singer Chrissy Costanza to make the song as memorable as possible. There’s even a Q&A from Square-Enix with her about the process of creating the track.
Costanza also shared a quick message with the song in the background on Twitter, thanking the team for the chance to collaborate on the song as well as hoping fans enjoy the track. (Which seems pretty definite at this point.) If you find yourself still replaying the raid tier right now just to hear the track again, keep in mind that next Tuesday brings the 7.05 patch with weekly tomestones and the Savage version of the fight, so there may be even more to uncover there.
