The second act of Destiny 2’s ongoing Revenant episode is coming today, and it invites players to head into a tomb to fight waves of enemies in an increasingly challenging gauntlet. That’s the headline activity for Act II: Into the Tomb, which is starting later today.
The referenced tomb in question is the Tomb of Elders, which readers will recall was highlighted in a recent stream from Bungie. The activity hearkens back to the Prison of Elders and pits player teams against foes and modifiers to rake in sweet loot the longer they survive.
Speaking of loot, the new act introduces some new weapons and a new artifact for players to power up and it also launches the Street Fighter 6 collab, while December 10th will reintroduce The Dawning holiday event that features the return of the Mistral Lift linear fusion rifle. The patch is scheduled to go live at around noon EST, but players can keep themselves occupied with a trailer below.
