World of Warcraft: Shadowlands datamining continues with NPC races and gear sets

The fanboy mines are harder to work all the time.

The words of Mystery Science Theater 3000 have remained with us for years: “Nothing better shows my taste than what I wear below my waist – it’s pants!” And indeed, pants are one of the many things already mined out in World of Warcraft’s ongoing Shadowlands alpha, with mined appearances for the Necrolords, Night Fae, Venthyr, and Bastion covenant rewards, along with the first two raid sets for plate and cloth. There’s also mining of appearances for the NPC-only races of the Faun and the vampires of the Venthyr, prompting speculation already that they might become allied races (although as it stands, they’re purely NPC races with lots of clothing options).

In other and unrelated news, if you’d rather be focusing on what’s happening in WoW at the moment rather than what’s ahead, the grand finals for the Mythic Dungeon Invitational EU & Asia division took place yesterday evening with 20+ keys to flummox and challenge players. Catch up with the recap if you missed it live.
