When you find yourself soaring past the outer limits of the atmosphere in DC Universe Online, you best have a spacesuit or superpowers. Or both. Let’s hope that Hikari has a plan for re-entry.
In the meanwhile, our space hero has a few words to say about an MMO pet peeve: “I can say with certainty that I know most of the camera tricks in the book, but a big pet peeve I run into is games that don’t have proper face lighting, especially on darker skin tones. The lengths I have to go to in certain games to get a good shot can be frustrating and usually involves getting above the world lighting or finding an extremely brightly lit object (IF it reflects its own light).”

Thanks for reminding me once again how much I actually liked the artistic style that Daybreak was putting into these now-cancelled MMOs. Sigh.
“For pet peeve, I’m going with glamour restrictions in FFXIV,” Minimalistway shared. “After collecting materials to craft few items, I learned that the items are restricted to one job and I can’t use them on all other jobs. I spent two hours just trying to make this outfit and buy dyes for it.”
Sleepy takes us now to a rainy day in Lord of the Rings Online’s Rohan, which makes it far more conducive to sitting around tavern hearths and drinking toasts to horses or something rather than getting soaked to the bone.
