One Shots: Dragons don’t like to be in the dark

Just because dragons are big and scaly and can nuke cities from orbit doesn’t mean that they lack insecurities. In fact, it’s a little-known fact that drakes are quite afraid of the dark. If you’re going to put one in a cave, for example, it’s absolutely necessary to set it up with glowing crystals, giant torches, or — barring those — twinkly fairy lights.

Hurbster saw this in recent adventures in Elder Scrolls Online saying, “While finishing off the DB questline, I forgot how well-designed some of the areas were.”

Has an MMO ever gotten you to learn another language? If not, then how can you call yourself cultured and refined? For shame! Take a cue from Minimalistway, who’s all-in on fictional languages from a galaxy far, far away.

“This screenshot is a sign in SWTOR. I’m just happy I started to read Arubish, which was easier than I thought.”

Yeah, don’t tell us what it says or anything. Preserve the suspense!

Here’s a blast from the extreme past: An encounter with an in-game legend in The Matrix Online. This is thanks to Zulika Mi-Nam,” who took the green pill. Don’t ask.

Stormwaltz is trotting through LOTRO on a Lore-master: “Oh, there’s something interesting over there. I wonder what I could see from the top of that hill? Wait, what’s that in the distance…? Oh, wait, the sun’s setting. Um. I should get a picture, I guess. Hello from… uh… (checks map) the northern edge of Sedgemead?”

Finally, trust me when I say that you don’t ever want to get on the wrong side of Sixuality in Neverwinter. Things get very… stabby if that happens.

“What hit me?” asks the boss.

“Daggers,” comes the reply. “The answer is always daggers.”
