Make My MMO

This week in MMO crowdfunding news, we learned about the Kickstarter for a “MOBA type of combat game” called Descent: Underground. Yes, it’s that Descent, and it even has Interplay’s blessing. I just don’t know about that Descent Kickstarter, boy. I thought the return of Descent would just have to be great; but then a few months ago, Interplay tries to bring it back as a tabletop game no one wanted (the Kickstarter for the Descent Freespace game failed bad: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/606843645/freespace-tactics/) and now this. Which just doesn’t sound like the Descent I wanted from a resurrection. Or look like it (Criminy-Jim-Jam; those are some ugly underground tunnels)….

I just don’t know…

The domain for The Stomping Land website was expired on 3/7/2015 according to the redirect to a GoDaddy page. Very, very sad that happened, but really not to be unexpected when it comes to these Early Access games that are basically all mutated clones of each other.
