Daybreak found another 6000 $300 lifetime subs to sell, somehow

A week before Christmas, Daybreak announced that it was selling a $300 lifetime sub for its current stable of MMORPGs: a new version of the all access pass that granted free roam over EverQuest, EverQuest II, DC Universe Online, and PlanetSide 2, with plenty of goodies thrown in to boot. The catch – aside from the fact that its value depended on your faith in the company, which just revealed a contentious new battle royale game after laying off upwards of 70 staff from its Austin office – was that it was supposedly limited to 4000 people.

“I would put money on Daybreak’s extending this beyond 4000, absolutely no doubt in my mind,” I said last week, when the package was down to 2000 left and then 1000 left and then zero by Xmas itself. If you were likewise convinced that the 4000 number was smoke on the wind, then you too win the prize, as Daybreak has extended the deal. Now the company says there are 6000 available (bringing the total to 10000) and that the deal runs through the end of the year.

“This is not a drill! Lock in membership to your favorite games with the Lifetime* All Access Membership. Available for a limited time, this special offer grants lifetime membership benefits in every All Access game. All Access currently includes DC Universe Online, EverQuest, EverQuest 2, and PlanetSide 2. No more resubscribing. No more recurring payments. All the access. All the time. Plus, if you already have an active All Access membership, we will convert your unused time to Daybreak Cash when you upgrade to this offer! The Lifetime* All Access Membership is available on PC for $299.99 USD, now through December 31, 2018, while supplies last**. Get yours today! *For the life of the participating game(s). **Only 6000 Lifetime All Access Memberships are available.”

The special pass still does not include the PC or PS4 H1Z1 or the upcoming PlanetSide Arena, and it’s separate from the annual membership pass that is still $200 through the end of the year.
