It’s time to head into the Battle of Dazar’alor in World of Warcraft, so long as you’ve got a regular group to head into a normal raid. (You’ll have to wait for LFR and Mythic, as usual.) The raid is out today, along with the general upgrade to season 2 for all of the game’s gearing. Bigger numbers on world quest items, bigger numbers on Warfront items, bigger numbers on Mythic+ rewards. Bigger everything!
If your mind is still calibrated to Legion-era item level numbers it probably doesn’t look all that much larger, but we assure you that it is.
The second season also marks the start of Azerite Knowledge increasing on a steady scale through February and March, along with a higher maximum possible item level of 425. Enemies in the Darkshore Warfront have also been upgraded concurrently to the item level bump, so they’ll hit harder while rewarding better gear.
