You all know that we here at the One Shots Studyological Laboratories are partial to pictures of player housing. This goes doubly for any presentations that look so cozy that we’d like to move in there yesterday.
Such is the case for RimaHadley’s new digs: “Finally sat down and decorated my secondary FFXIV character’s Ishgardian apartment. I wanted a warm, cozy feeling, with the idea being this is the suite at the top of Fortemps Manor that she stays in.”
Over in World of Warcraft, Minimalistway is making weird friends in the latest expansion. Friends who call strangers “Two Feet” as if it’s a dire insult. Hey, a caterpillar would like to have words with you!
“So excited to meet the centaurs,” Min said. “This inn keeper trying hard to ignore me… it didn’t work.”
Katriana took us back to the past with this next screenie: “This week I have a shot I took in the original Guild Wars when a friend and I did the mission that took us through Glint’s lair to have a chat with her. Here is the Lady Glint herself, who asked us to come see her and then made us go through all sorts of tests to get to her.”
“Here’s a fleet of swans in the new Swanfleet zone in the Lord of the Rings Online,” said Yrys without a trace of irony. “As usual, SSG’s world designers did a good job at making a very thematic zone.”
And I’ll toss in my own LOTRO shot this week as well. Want to make fun of my Hobbit Lore-master? You’ll have to deal with her “big brother” who can shoot angry bees in your face.
