Blizzard is busy this time of year, in just about every one of its online games. Let’s start with World of Warcraft, as Blizzard dropped patch notes for the 20th anniversary celebration it’s been teasing all month. The events run from October 22nd to January 6th, so you’ve got plenty of time to participate.

“Join the 20th Anniversary Celebration near the Caverns of Time, spread your wings as a new Dracthyr Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Mage, Warrior, or Warlock, ascend with a new Shaman Ascendance form, and more,” the studio says. We also spy a throwback event in Alterac Valley, tmog goodies, buffs, and a return to Blackrock Depths. But the expansion of classes for the Dracthyr is definitely the highlight.

“The exposure to new races and their abilities in the Dragon Isles has expanded opportunities for growth among the dracthyr. In the 20th Anniversary Celebration content update, players will be able to create new Dracthyr as a Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Mage, Warrior, or Warlock. These newly specialized Dracthyr classes will begin at level 10 in the Forbidden Reach and will be sent to Chromie in their capital city after completing their introductory leveling experience. Undertaking one of these new classes as a Dracthyr will allow you to choose between fighting as a Dracthyr or fighting in Visage form by activating Visage, which switches you between forms. You can additionally choose to toggle on Chosen Identity, which will automatically shift you into Dracthyr form when entering combat and Visage form when leaving combat. Dracthyr Evokers will continue to use Dracthyr form during combat, as many of their abilities emphasize their draconic nature.”

Meanwhile, in Diablo IV, patch 2.0.3 has officially gone live this afternoon with improved Kurast Undercity rewards, UI tweaks, and Season of Hatred’s Realmwalker event; specifically, Blizzard has increased max spawns and the base movement speed of the realmwalker by “around 15%.”

And finally, over in Hearthstone, patch 30.6.2 provides prepwrok for the Great Dark Beyond expansion, which launches November 5th. A dev blog earlier this week also discusses the major balance and weekly quests changes coming in that 31.0 patch.
