Wherever there is trouble, Manastu Utakata will be there to fight it with her lightning-fast screenshot button and trademark pink hair. Villains, start running right now! The pink is coming for you and it will never, ever give up until you are six feet under the ground (in your hidey hole, shaking in your boots because you never saw it coming).
Pink: It’s what’s for winners.
As we rebuild our One Shots catalogue from the ruins of Livefyre, let us be blinded by the neon colors of WildStar and dye all of our hair pink in honor of a certain famous pig-tailed commenter.
“I resubbed to EVE Online today and did some late night exploration and stumbled upon this Fortizar Citadel,” said ForceChuckle.
I am amazed that you could “stumble upon” anything in this game. My admittedly limited experience in EVE was me looking in despair at the void of space and yelling to no one in particular, “WHERE AM I? HOW DO I GET SOMEWHERE? PLEASE DON’T KILL ME SPACE VAMPIRES!”
Agemyth sent in a couple of World of Warcraft pictures in response to my call a couple of weeks ago for “technology” pictures from MMOs. The cockroach in this one disturbs me more than it should.
“Here is some sitting around in Dalaran,” Agemyth said. “I would prefer not to speculate what it is supposed to do for the city.”
Well, it’s a magical city that somehow stays afloat, so my guess is “fairy blood” to keep the levitation devices going.
“Virtual reality is still in its infancy but already jawdropping,” Melissa posted. “VR Time has simplistic avatars, but really nice locations. VR Paris is pretty wondrous to behold: flocks of birds flying by, smoke wafting from chimneys, a living world to behold in the VR space, and a presence no flatscreen game can touch. And this is the low-end, a screencap from my GearVR, powered by my Note 4. The Rift and Vive are capable of much greater magic.”
All I can say for this next one is that it’s good to be the king. Or at least a Dwarf with delusions of royalty. Also, is that wizard in the chair going double-bowling or something?
“Lord of the Rings Online again,” Ryuen said. “The newest member of my alt stable seems to have found a nifty chair he likes.”
This week’s screenshot challenge is going to be a bit more difficult, because I’m going to ask you to do something I have a hard time doing myself: taking pictures of your characters in action. Sure, everyone has it easy taking selfies when they’re standing still, but what about when they’re running, jumping, swimming, fighting, or emoting?
