One Shots: Seeking the secret

Hey, when’s the last time we kicked off a One Shots column with a Dungeons and Dragons Online vista? It should happen more often, in my opinion, because this game can be strangely beautiful in spots — as evidenced by this watery trek.

Hirku Two got a bit damp taking this pic: “Savoring the sunset while seeking the sinister secret of Saltmarsh.”

Meanwhile, it looks like Utakata has migrated over to Tower of Fantasy, where the year’s supply of the color pink is being stored along with what looks like a mobile TV viewing platform.

“I got to get me one of those,” our pigtailed warrior said.

“Graduation day at the academy in Star Trek Online,” said Minimalistway. “Despite being old and with white beard, everyone is calling me ‘young cadet.'”

Hey, I’ll call you Captain Boomer if that makes you feel better!

IronSalamander8 is posing for a trading card photograph in Final Fantasy XIV. It’ll be an Uncommon with decent stats, but you’ll still want it to show off to friends what true style is all about.

“My moon cat as my favorite job (Dark Knight), dealing with some Manderville machinations!”

And Hurbster has some lovely property that’s for sale in Elder Scrolls Online. That’s not a volcano, by the way. It’s an “active BBQ fountain.” Please ignore the sulfur clouds.

Oh no! We’re almost to the end of the post… and there’s a monster lurking there! Don’t scroll any more! Please! I’m begging you! And whatever you do, don’t post more pictures down there, as that just feeds the content beast!

Every week, One Shots shines a spotlight on the best community screenshots from your MMO adventures. If you have a great pic to share, email it to¬† with the subject “One Shots.” Make sure that the picture is over 880px wide and comes with a description or story!
