When is something old new again? When it’s handed out for free, of course. Those who didn’t bother to buy in to EverQuest’s Terror of Luclin expansion back when it launched in December 2021 can now enjoy all of the spooky moon vampire goodness for absolutely free this week.
The playable content on offer for this expack once again looks to be unrestricted, meaning players get their hands on a level cap rise to 120, the story, the zones, and the raids that were all part of the deal. Daybreak’s Darkpaw Games is even re-selling the Ring of Scale expansion items for a limited time.
This handout follows previous free expack releases from the MMORPG, including The Burning Lands in 2021, Torment of Velious in 2022, and Claws of Veeshan in 2023. Just go ahead and add this one to the pile.
Finally, the free expansion announcement notes that players will be able to transfer off of the Thornblade server for free ahead of its merge with the Mischief server on July 17th; players have between now and then to take advantage of this window.
