As of today, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is over, because the Shadowlands pre-patch for the game has finally released! And there was much rejoicing. This means that the level squish will be in place, players will have access to several un-pruned abilities, new customization options, Chromie Time, and so forth. There’s a whole lot of stuff, so you should catch up on the patch notes if you missed some of it in the delirium of just being glad it’s no longer BfA all over. You’ll have time, too, as the game’s weekly maintenance will last until 6:00 p.m. EDT as of this writing.
For those of you who want more catching up, we’ve got a roundup recapping more about the pre-patch leading up to today’s launch. For those of you mostly looking forward to the new Shadowlands release date, we don’t have that, but we do have the expansion trailer upscaled to 4k resolution and 48 FPS thanks to YouTuber SnazzyAI. That’s still fun, right?
[#Warcraft] Current maintenance has been extended until 4:00 PM (PDT). We apologize for any disruption and hope to restore service quickly. pic.twitter.com/fHplXmFJOQ
